While Mommy is on the road, it’s always comforting to know that they are in good hands with Daddy and family and their loving teachers at daycare (or taking care of eachother like this!). Hunter has never expressed interest in holding or feeding his little brother so we never pushed it but as Deacon is growing, he is becoming more and more interested in playing with and caring for him.
Hunter now says things like “Where’s DD?” if he is taking a nap or “I wanna play with DD” when he first wakes up in the morning. In this case, “Can I feed DD bottle?” and “Open your mouf DD!” So sweet. I have even found him waking Deacon up from nap early to play. Not so sweet… Growing up I always said the best gift I was ever given was my little brother. I’m lucky that we have always been so close. I can say the same for Josh and his sister. Siblings are the greatest link to your past and the ones most likely to stick with you in the future. Having these two so close together, we always hoped the same for them. I am looking forward to watching their relationship grow.
